Wow, what a wild ride! Animals have been defeated in so many ways throughout history. From being hunted for their fur and meat to being used as entertainment, animals have had to endure a lot of suffering. But thankfully, there are now laws in place that protect them from exploitation and cruelty. It’s amazing how far we’ve come in terms of animal rights! Let’s take a look at some of the ways animals have been defeated and how we can continue to fight for their rights.

Tardigrades are so resilient because they can survive in extreme conditions that would kill most other creatures. When things get too hot, cold, dry or wet for them, they just curl up into a tiny ball and enter cryptobiosis. In this state, their metabolism slows down to almost nothing and they can stay like that for years until the environment is more hospitable again. Amazingly, when the conditions improve, these little guys just pop back out of their tuns and carry on with life as if nothing happened! It’s no wonder why people call them ‘water bears’ - they’re practically indestructible!
Animals can be defeated in a variety of ways, whether it’s through hunting, trapping, or even domestication. It’s sad to see an animal succumb to human control, but it happens all the time. Still, there are some animals that have managed to outwit us and remain wild and free. That’s something we should all be proud of!
